Kids love this project because they get to make a hat from all sorts of cool and unique art materials. Parents love the convenience and knowing they are doing a high-quality, creative art project by just opening the box.
| Wacky Hats are a fun and convenient activity for kids' group events like birthday parties and scout meetings. We developed Wacky Hats to use at festivals to show-off our unique appoach to doing art projects and by popular demand, we are now offering them as a kit.
These Wacky Hats are made from sturdy cardstock and they lay flat on the table for kids to decorate. We include all sorts of fun and interesting art materials that we have learned that kids love - such as: holographic metalic paper, metalic printed paper, animal print tissue paper, glitter contruction paper, colorful plastic "bubble" sticker in various shapes, glitter pom poms, shinny metalic pipe cleaners, bright colored pom pom beads, colorful paper tubes, shinny fabric shapes, glue sticks, and more. All you have to provide is a hole punch, table covering, and magic markers. (We also offer these items as accessories if you need them.)
Our revolutionary Flight Guide instructions illustrate fun techniques that kids can use to create a hat - but we never show step-by-step instructions and we never show a finished product so each child can pursue their own creative ideas. The Flight Guides also include a checklist that make it convenient and fast for busy parents to set-up this project.
Once the kids are done decorating their hat, it is easily folded into a visor that becomes functional and wearable art that each child will be proud to show off!
The hat is printed with the Dragonfly Innovation logo as shown in the picture, but the hat can be folded so that the printing is on the inside - giving each child a "blank canvas" to work with.
